3 day - Cultural mix and labor market

Today we had next day full of attractions and great activities.

In the morning we had workskop about culture. It was a new experience for us. We focused on the culture but in the different way. We were working in national groups. Our tasks was to make a pizza of culture. We had to define what exactly culture means. We got to know that its not only what is visible. We were talking also about stereotypes, which are connected with foreign cultures. It as really great experience. We got to know that we shouldn't  follow the stereotypes, but also be open-minded for other cultures.

In the afternoon we focused on the labor market. Before we have had collected some information  about this topic in our country. Today we presented the results of our preparations. We found out that some issues are similar but there are also some differences. We got to know which occupations are the most wanted in the labor market nowadays and which qualifications are needed. After whole activities we made an evaluation. It was surprising for us because that way of evaluation was unusual. We had to reflect our feelings and experiences from today workshop.

At the evening we took part in Latvian night. Our friends from this country have prepared amazing party. We had chance to learn some information about the country, treid Latvian food and played games.

Second day - Let's break the ice!!

The second day is almost over. The day was full of surprises and different activities.We had so much fun!!! In Poland 8th of March is known as Women's Day. Our fantastic boys wished us all the best and gave us beautiful flowers. 

Later on we played many games - ice-breaking games and name games. We laughed a lot!!! It was very hard to memorise all the names but we did our best!

We spent a lot of time to get to know each other. We made collage about ourselves. It helped us to know some more information about our new friends.

At the afternoon we were building a kite. It was real challenge! We could use only a few things eg. plastic bag, spaghetti pasta, balloons.... Some of our kites flied away and some of them ... stayed on the ground:)

We also talked about our expectations and fears. It's good to know what we all expect and what our fears are... At the end we made a contract of the exchange - we set the rules how to behave so everyone could feel good and comfortable during the project.

Right now we are going to have small party!! Let's have fun!:)

Ready... Steady.... START!!!

Today we are starting our new project Hot Spot. We can't wait to welcome our friends from Hungary and Latvia!!
