Day 9 - It's time to say... see you soon!!!

After breakfast we got our Youthpasses and some small gifts from hosting organization. After we have packed all our bags, we went for a short walk. We took our “goodbye” picture. It was very hard to say goodbye to our friends. We have spent together only few days but we have become good friends and we hope to see each other very soon. We strongly advice everyone to take part in such a project !!

Day 8 – Time for the final evaluation

This day was dedicated to final evaluation. We reminded all the activities we have had during this project. Step by step we discovered again all the games and our emotions connected with all activities. We had chance to share our opinions on the project. We even started planning new project in the nearest future. We also discussed about our accommodation and food.

At the evening we organized farewell party. We had a lot of fun but in the same time we were a bit sad because of the fact that it’s the last night together. We hope we will see each other very soon.

Day 7 – Let’s debate

In the morning we made short summary of previous days. We were discussing about our image in Internet, and about Internet in general – we sum up all advantages and disadvantages of social media and its role in recruiting process. We had interesting meeting with experts – we presented them our results and ideas. It was interesting to get their feedback and to hear some advices. After lunch we started our preparation for debate. At the beginning we were a bit afraid of speaking in public, but at the end everything went great and we were very proud of ourselves. We noticed that right now it’s much easier to present our ideas and opinions that it was at the beginning of the projects. We had great discussion and we continued it even after the end of the debate.

The evening was very relaxing. Some people took part in “chill out” activities with relaxing music. Other people had small game competition.

Day 6 – My image in the Internet – Forum Theatre

This day was pretty intensive. The whole day was connected with practicing new method – forum theatre. In the morning, after some energizers, we were divided into few international groups. We made brainstorming on topic “My image and Internet”. We discussed how Internet can influence on our image and self-confidence. We focused on disadvantages and possible traps of posting private pictures or comments in social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). We also talked about hate speech and possible consequences. At the afternoon we were practicing new method. It was very interesting to use “Forum theatre” in our activities. It could help us to picture results of our morning brainstorming and to understand that we need to take responsibility for our decisions. This method let us use our creativity and gave us space for sharing our ideas about the topic. After all groups have presented their plays, we had evaluation – we could express what we thought about our image in Internet. Moreover, we could make our comments about the new method – forum theatre.

At the evening we had a nice party – we were dancing together. Our Hungarian friend showed us traditional Hungarian dance. We tried to dance with him but the dance was very complicated and difficult. Anyway, we had a lot of fun!!

Day 5 – Challenge our creativity!!

At the beginning of the day we got a big surprise! We went to nearest city Zakopane where we were divided into few international groups. We got list of tasks to do – orienteering challenge game! It was great adventure for us. Tasks weren’t very easy – we had to communicate with locals and tried to get some information about the city. We had to work as a team. Thanks to these tasks we have improved our team working skills and communication skills. We had to promote our project among local society – it was a great chance for us to practice our promoting and negotiation skills. After all, we prepared presentation about our adventures and results.

After lunch we  focused on different types of CV. In groups we have found in the Internet examples of creatives CV. We discussed about advantages and disadvantages of creative CV. We agreed that it’s great way to show our creativity and to attract the attention of our future employers. We also agreed that some jobs require traditional CV. Later on, we focused on Europass. We have learnt how to write correct European CV. We discussed what information we should put to our CV to attract future employers. We agreed that we need to know to which job we want to require. We should collect some information about job and employer in advance.

At the evening we had third intercultural night – Polish evening. Polish group was proud to present their culture and cuisine. After official part of the evening, we played a lot of Polish games.

Day 4 – Internet – not only for fun…

Today we focused mostly on the Internet. We started the day with big portion of energizers – it helped us to wake up and to find hidden energy. The first part of the day was connected with social recruiting topic. We have worked in international groups. We made brainstorming about “social recruiting”. We tried to make definition of the term. It wasn’t so easy as we didn’t know that social media could be used so widely in recruiting for a job. We watched few short videos that presented us how big companies use for example Facebook or Twitter to recruit future employees.

In the second part of the day we focused on different blogs. We presented the most popular blogs in our countries. We tried to find out how we can use Internet and social media to find the job of our dream – we discussed about features of good employees and employers. We noticed that many famous bloggers had started their blogs because of unemployment or boredom or because they simply wanted to share their hobbies. It was very interesting to see what other people think about Internet, blogs and social media.

At the evening we had Hungarian night. Our friends from Hungary were amazing! They presented their country and culture very well. We enjoyed the evening very much.
